Be very careful when buying 4 bolt Ford wheels. In 1974, Mustang IIs switched to a smaller pattern, 4x4.25,( also 4x108 mm). You do NOT want these. I screwed this up once, back in the day. Took a big hit, right in my status as "The Wheel Guy" at the Goodyear store I worked at. Middle-age guys can be pretty rough on 20 somethings.

You definitely want 4x4.5" (also 4x113mm)

Four lug rims are getting tough to find for classic cars. Plenty out there for smaller modern cars, but the backspace is all wrong. I tried TireBuyer.com, which is a site that my company runs, and there was nothing.

A search a Coker Tire, a site that specializes in tires and wheels for old vehicles, turned up these. The can be used as-is or with a smooth hubcap. One in primer (paint to match or contrast the car) and one in chrome. I doubt these work with any Ford dog dish hubcaps.

15x7 with 4 inch backspace should be OK front and rear.
Do you want all four tires the same size? ... or stagger bigs and littles?

I would stay away from 14" rims. Far less choice in tires available anymore, especially if you want a performance aspect ratio. Still some stock skinnies out there, but getting tougher by the day to find. At least with 15 inch rims, there is enough old musclecars around that there are some tires still being made. I am not seeing anything bigger than 15" out there in this bolt pattern.

For referenc, the wheels on my car in the sig picture are 15s.
