I suppose our modeling programs are pretty different...
Here is what I got on this one.
I put an exhaust on mine, but very free flowing.
(I wish mine was easier to post. It's alot of work to show it here. Even then it doesn't look very good when posted. Graphics are great in the program.)

Dang, only 456 HP! Well, I guess I will just have to live with it.

Thanks for running that. I appreciate it!:tiphat:

Hey, I was playing with my program, so I threw this in.
I need a great deal more info, but I just filled in the blanks with standard stuff, and left the variables the same for both tests.

Also, I have a zillion Comp grinds, but they are not by part number.
So, I just threw in a 281HR, which is fairly aggressive, but probably not the cam you have.

Here is what I came up with, using limited info and filling in blanks.

Dave, what other info you might need? I was thinking I would be around the 350 hp range. I may not have a choice but to go with aftermarket heads. Dont know if it makes a dofference but I do have 2 1/2 exhast with MAC flowpath mufflers. I NEED MORE POWER PLEASE. There's never enough hp but I need more.:hmmm:

Here's what I come up with...

    Edit:
For giggles, I threw a Vic JR intake on... seeing as how you don't make power to 3k anyway.
It slaughtered the RPM after 3k.
20 lbs more torque and 30 more hp... throughout the 3000 to 6500 band.

    :yikes: Wow!
Those are huge numbers for a 306...
Does your version have all the specs built in?
Mine has an extensive list of any kind of aftermarket part you can think of.
For yours all I had to do was pull down each menu and click the part you have. Your exact head, intake, carb, cam, and all were in there.
The only part that wasn't in the menus by brand name and factory spec was the 6901s. However "long tube header, 1 5/8" primary, 34" long tubes" is in my menu, which matches.
So there was no 'ad libbing' on my part.

I think the numbers I got are much more in line with a 306 and those parts. IMO you would need much more radical parts and more rpm to make 439/393 with such small cubes.
    Never know though...

thats what i thought too i had to do a lot of inputting of numbers on my parts but all the numbers i put in i looked up factory specs for the parts:hmmm:
