a 2 flue radiator really is not big enough for a v-8.you would be better off putting your money into a 3 flue radiator IMHO.
I put taller rear bumpers under my hood to jack it up about an inch. This lets air escape across the entire top rear of the hood. It helped to keep my engine cool, and now I leave it that way because I think my air cleaner will hit it if I put it back down. Sorta a trick I learned from when I used to own VW beetles. Except we did it with them to get cold air IN!
