Electric Fan

    Mmmm....electric water pump...

    That's my next step, sometime down the road. I want to get an electric water pump setup. Mine is a daily driver though, so i need to find one that will last...

    That's the one i was looking at too!
    I was kind of thinking that i could get that pump and buy another thermostat like the one i used for my fan (instead of the $150 one you can buy from them). I'll start saving....

    Now if they would just make an electric alternator, we wouldn't need any pulleys on the front of the engine.

    we wouldn't need any pulleys on the front of the engine.

    I've seen street rodders who put a pulley on the rear end pinion and mount the alternator back there.

    That 60 amp Alt puts that at out at about 2000 rpms, not a idle. you're probably only getting about 1/2 your fans speed at idle.
