Will I see oil pressure when I prime engine with starter?

Sooner or later pressure will come up but priming by cranking starter is a bad idea... The whole idea is have engine primed so when it starts pressure is there... What you want is instant pressure so there is oil slinging from rod bearings lubricating cam as well as oil to the rockerarms... Of course if you have a roller cam isn't so important, but I'd never crank/start one without first priming oil system...
