And now that Ive got money,,, I want one of my own.. PARTICULARY a FORD Maverick or Stang........
Im not at all worried if I get 18 miles to the gallon,,
I drive my dads f150 (wich gets around 17mpg) all over the place.......
and Im fine on the cash.....
SOOOOOO what do you guys think HUH????? is a Mav or stang suitable as a daily driver,,,,any other classics that would be suitable,,,,, PREFERABLE a vehicle where parts would be somewhat availabe...

I just bought a 74 Comet to use as a semi daily driver. I will keep my ranger and I only drive 9 miles to work ,all rural roads.I have been doing small things to it to make it look a little nicer and it has a few issues that Im working on but I love the comment and stuff.

Just drove my old bus to Fla. and back, no issues whatsoever. I wouldn't hesitate to use it as a daily driver if the need arises. Gas mileage in town is a bit low, but on the highway, 23mpg. Overdrive rules!!!

I've been driving my 70 to work a few days a week. Not very far, but I wouldn't hesitate to drive it longer if need be. Most Maverick running parts are available at parts stores. :)

i have to agree that the mav can be a daily drive IF you know how to repair them from top to bottom. i use my mav as a daily drive and it has been the most reliable vehicle i have ever owned...but i know how to fix it or can find out when a problem arises. I've owned the new cars before and when something goes wrong, with all the crazy sensor's this and electrical that, forget it! I'm at a loss and will not spend big bucks to fix it. There are very few vehicles I'd spend $17,000 dollars to buy and a toyota corolla or chevy cavalier are not it
