    true, but whose to say they wont film most of the movie here in the states and just make it look like Brazil :huh: they've done it a million times

    Very true! They filmed portions of a movie here in town (Pascagoula Ms.) that was suppose to be Washington DC! :16suspect

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    then again you know how much value that will add to our cars. not to meantion some decent recognition for our cars. like it or not that is a good reason for it to be in the movie.

    anyways since the cat is out of the bag i just talked with one of my contacts there and he is going to find out to see what is going on. ;)

    Since the movie will be in Brazil per say. It MUST have at least a 10 minutes scene of a Maverick. Mavericks are VERY popular in Brazil today. three biggest classic cars that everybody wants and you see lots of them down there are the Maverick GT, Chevy Opala, Dodge Charger R/T.

    just because its susposed to be in brazil doesnt mean that they are catering to the brazilian audiance. its marketed to the teens and young adults here. they dont know what mavericks are. i hope they do put them in the movies. it will generate interest in the maverick. maybe year one will take notice of the maverick and start doing repoduction parts for us. i like to watch the f&f movies once because its like watching a train wreck. you just cant help but watch.

    I Understand The movie is not for the Brazilian audience only and It's not for the USA's only. I believe It's for the car enthusiasts all over the world.
    Now if it's going to be filmed in a foreign country they would have to show the cars that are driven/raced by car enthusiasts over there.

    that is actually why they pulled it out. but again maybe they went back to the maverick after they couldn't find any Rx3s. i told (person shall be unnamed ;) ) that they would have issues with that. But i also told them that in Brazil that car is like the Mustang so if it takes place there yes! it will be correct to the area. Also i know one "big" star that will be in the movie and i'm not talking about tyre. i am sure a lot of the money when there and not the building of some older camaro or mustang.

    I know a bit to much about this movie then i need to. let me put it to you this way. F&F5 will be more like F&F4. I can still tell you that F&F3 being the best of the 5 without seeing F7F5 ;) if the maverick is still in it then we all know which the best one is. don't cross your fingers.
