Agreed. This might have trailed off just a little bit.... but i can't say anything, i wasted 2 brand new tires in front of my high school at graduation with my 4dr :D and wouldnt trade that moment for anything. and that was only 5 yrs ago :biglaugh:

last year on the last day of school me (in the mav), my friend ( in his 69 c/10), and a random kid (in a hyadai tiburon) did a huge 3 car smoke show... like 2 minutes later 3 teachers came outside watching us but nobody got in trouble... good times good times..:thumbs2:

LMAO... I swear... I love you guys.... I really appreciate all of the advice. It's not that I'm not mechanically inclined. I know a lot about cars. But it's the little things that you may miss that could potentially f:bananaman up your car if done wrong (i.e. honing wrong/not enough, sealing gaskets properly, etc.). I mean, if you gave me an engine part, there's a good chance I can tell you what it is and what it does. But like I said, it's the little things. I got a buddy who may be able to help me out, if I ask politely. And I just looked in the "Tradin' Times" (is that everywhere? It's like the classifieds...) and found a 351 Windsor, which as far as I know, will fit without shaving the shock towers, but you need to take of the valve covers to get to the shocks, correct? Then, I'd just need an AOD, because I can't stand a three speed! Ad reads "1970 351W, 71k original miles, complete with all accessories, out of mercury monterey, runs strong, no smoke, $500, negotiable..." Sounds like a good deal, right? I mean, if I can get that and get my buddy to help me put it in, shouldn't be a problem.... Then I just gotta get muh brakes fixed cuz the brakes light is on and they seem like they need to be bled for some reason... Outta noweres.... Does the cold do that?:cry::cry:
