    The two major "special tools" I was worried about was the pitman puller. Factory manual said "anything but special tool 3290-C (looks to be a basic pitman screw-down puller) would destroy the control valve". And a spacer exactly 8 1/16" to aid in installing new bushings in the upper control arm. But I'm in favor of the big f'n hammer.

    The book was a bit light on instructions for replacing the ball stud (pitman arm pwr steering control valve) Has anyone done this and are there any tricks to getting the stud out of the control valve?

    Got a foot of snow last night so no car work today!
