According to Yahoo, Saturday is supposed to be mostly sunny with a high of 66. Sounds good to me. Not sure if I will take my '69.5 or not. I have to change the exaust manifold and 4 bolts snapped off in the head, so I have the top end apart dealing with that right now. We'll see...
sounds like fun. part-time and i are already heading to a show together on Ocoee that day. i will try to keep the date in the spring. just keep us posted on the dates. maybe we can arrange a florida-georgia mini meet.
No dirt, just gravel. It is a nice lot. Fresh Air was voted best BBQ sandwich in Georgia. When I was boy, the floors inside were sawdust. My dad and I would eat there every Saturday coming back home from deer hunting. They now have concrete flors and added another dining room. The atmosphere is country and rustic, the food is great, and having a bunch of Maverick guys around will be the tops. This outing is for friends that share a love of Mavericks and Comets. It is not an outing for cars that just happen to bring their owners along.
The place has... character. Gravel parking lot. I ate there with Terry and Earl one day. I almost think they encourage carving stuff into the wooden walls in the restroom. The food is great though. Just watch the door on the way out! (BAM!) I'm scrambleling to get the '69 1/2 together but it's not looking like it's going to be there. Tylar and I will likely just be there in the '72.
I just spoke with Fresh Air and told them that anywhere from 8 to 25 would be there. They confirmed that they could accommodate us. We will park on what they call the upper parking lot. It's the big one to the northside of the building. See y'all tomorrow!
My gang will consist of... Myself, Sonny , My Buddy Olin, Frank, Effie, and maybe Their son Chris and his girl friend. Cars will be: My Maverick, Mustang LX Mustang II Patches Lowered S-10
