The replacements with red tenths indicator are rather rare, most people just went to the junk yard and bought a used one... At some point the practice was no doubt discontinued, as the replacement Motorsports 140 MPH Mustang & T-Bird units all had white/black numerals(seen lots of those, have one in my T-Bird)... Or maybe it didn't apply to parts that were not considered original...
