My Grandpa (not a grandpa at the time) owned several mavericks. Most of them he sold to my aunt and uncles. One of them was a 302 car that my dad wrecked when he fell asleep at the wheel. Another one received a Boss 302 transplant. I know it was a blue and white car, but not sure if it was a sprint or not. All the Mavericks were gone by the time I came along. The family also owned many pintos in runabout and wagon form. The oldest car I remember them owning was Country Squire wagon with the 460 and C6. They eventually sold it to a demo derby guy. The Country Squire doubled as a pickup truck and smelled like fertilizer and cattle feed. That's about the only thing I remember about it. Well, that and the sideways seats in the back.
