i myself have gotta say that the hooker 6208's were a pretty easy swap with just minor cutting/ notching and welding,, granit my car ran 10.60's on spray with 1 1/2" primary tubes!! now we are running the 1 3/4" which of course they work better but eh... just adding my advice..

    Don-

I'm using the small bellhousing and a c4.
I think the problem with them is a catalog error.
As far as getting stuck with them, when I initially had trouble installing the headers, I called and spoke with a tech line guy who told me a bit of persuasion is perfectly normal with the cheaper headers and just keep plugging away.
Well I did and after a large amount of cursing I got the passenger side one on the motor.
More cursing and raising the motor about 6 inches I got the drivers side on. I let the engine back down and one of the primaries (#7 if I remember right) sat directly on the steering box.
I would have had to remove the tube altogether to get the engine back in the mounts.
After all this heat bending and hammering I was told that they wouldn't take them back because they were not re-sellable. When I explained that I had just done what the tech guy suggested, they said their tech people would never say that.
    Grr...
