Thanks guy´s for the welcome :drive:

I´ll add more pictures when I have cleaned up the vehicle a bit. I´m afraid the previous owner had neglected that a bit. Luckily he had only owned the car less than a year so It´ll clean up nicely.

It´s got a 1989 Mustang 5.0L engine now. Forged pistons, roller rockers, MSD, Holley 600cfm and other nice stuff.

I need to order a new gas tank, this on is leaking in several places so its badly corroded. I think I´ll go for the Spectra F30 for 1977 Maverick! I hope it fits?

The economy here is in a pretty bad state so this is a good time to buy antique cars for someone that is able. I did pay 530.000.- Icelandic kronors, (The krona is similar to Matador game money now, almost worthless :) ). That is equal to about $4.600.- US.

Really like this website. Am learning a lot. Thanks.

I´ll ask around where the spolier comes from. I really like it, fits the car well. Here are some better pictures. I apologize for how dirty the car is. I did take these pictures a few day´s before I bought it.

The oil leak under the car is due to leaking oil pressure sending unit which I have already replaced. Otherwise the engine has no oil leak at all.

Hi. My Grabber is almost all ready for the summer. I´m just waiting for the fuel tank to be repaired and coated inside.

here are some pics. I was not finished cleaning the wheels. I have had some comments that the wheels don´t fit this car. I would appreciate your comments regarding the wheels. I have now cleaned them up but they are a little rusty so didn´t quite get to be like new.

I also didn´t have a vacum to finish the interior and I have to glue the sticker on the top of the battery.

I appreciate any comments on how I could improve my Maverick (y)

I think the wheels fit just fine! get some chrome polish, it will remove the rust and provide protection.
