Windstar! My wife loves that place:naughty: I would be on-board if they had free drinks like Shreveport.

I'm in Richardson, but looking for a cheap shop in the Dallas area. My two friends and I need a new location to build cars...

How much you willing to pay? I know a couple of places. I used to rent them but moved on to smaller due to the economy. One is on Plano Rd right at Forest Ln and the other is on Buckingham between First and 78 (Lavon). Both are decent size and I miss them.

As little as possible. It would be nice if it was no more than $500 a month :yup: It depends on the sq ft I guess... what size are they?

I don't know about size but the Plano Rd one is huge and expensive. I was paying 900. It had a back area that you could put three cars in, a storage room, a huge work room, a big office, a greeting entry area. I actualy lived there lol. The one on Buckingham is just a open shop. You could fit three cars there also but that's about it. I would say that one is around 25'x 50' and ceiling is easy high enough for a lift. I was paying 550. I think he went up to 600 but I also seen that he lost other renters so he may deal. There is a Mazda shop next door there and the owner has told me he would help me with my dynos. I liked that spot also. I am currently about half a mile from there on First. I think you would like it, spacy and kinda secluded. There is a race team/group in the complex also.

    A quick follow up:

Here's a few picks of the whip right after I got it. I will start a build thread as things get started. Thanks for the warm welcome!

    New to group

Hey, new to the group. I just purchased a 1970 Maverick. I had just finished a full frame off restoration (really a resto/mod) of a 1976 Bronco and needed a new project. I stayed home on New Years eve; well too much time, too much liquor, and not enough sense and I am an owner. If this is a purist only site then I am in the wrong place, please let me know. The reason I am joining is because of a hydraulic clutch post that would not complete. It is http://home.comcast.net/~grabblue65/Hyd_Clutch.pdf
If some one can find this, or help me find sites that will help me with my decision on what type of clutch system to use let me know. I know new people to a site are sometimes a pain, bringing up topics that have been gone over many time, I will try to minimize this. Here are a couple of pics of my Bronco.
