this brings an interesting question upon my mind. what all body kits will fit on with very little mods.???
Here is a picture of just the door handles from the pinto and maverick. The pinto handles are smaller, they have the oval thumb button (matches the probe gas door). I cut off the stock handle mounting pads so the handles set even closer to the body. If you have fat fingers they wont fit the handle The tops of the handles set more parallel to the ground too.
sweet work Thomas, wish I had half the talent you have..... has the interior already been started? if so got any pics of the guage cluster and how it all fits together?
looks nice. i was just reading an article in street rodder (3/05) on changing a fuel door. they also showed a gas cap from hagans street rod neccessities that looks like it has a button in the center. it allows you to fill the tank without removing the cap. simply push the nozzle through the center of the cap. like to see it after its painted
That thing is just unbelievable!! Awesome! I can't get over the amount of work that you get in, in such a short time. Looks incredible!! Great job! Preston
holy....!!!that is definitly a one of a kind. Whats the cowl lip removal? any pics? I'm also interested in the gauges and how they look.
nice, I am dying to see it in person, will you be at knott's?? I would also love to see how those mustang gauges turned out.
Very nice Tom. You've got a one of a kind. Love the body work. Looks like pure custom muscle. Gotta admit though, you beat me to the grill lights. Got mine cut to fit and painted, just have'nt got it installed yet.
Thomas your ability to make an idea a reality is uncanny.. I can't say anything that hasn't been said...it's just super
With all due respect to every other Maverick/Comet owner, yours may be the ultimate, Thomas. Great job!!!
