The grill isn't original (silver) & broken. GT's had a black grill, to go with the black headlight bezels.... The orange interior is awesome. I really like the orange....

:Welcome: from Michigan, I think its a fair price. The car would be real nice restored and it would be hard to find another like it!

I have a 74 Comet GT, 302, Manual Trans, Power Steering, AC, etc. I had it since new and it's seen 2 years in Texas and three years in Alaska. Drove it to Alaska and although I have always keep it clean and a good coat of wax on it, it shows signs of it's age and rough driving. I drove it to Alaska in the last 70s when the road was all dirt and then drove it back (AlCAN is 1300 miles one way), three years later. So with the beating it's had it's always held up good. When I recently drove it to the body shop for restoration, I had 3 people come talk to me about selling the car. One guy said he would drive straight to the bank and pay me 4,000 for it.
So the price of the car you are looking at is good. As long as it has a good body and from what you said you have a good one. Oh, and if you change it to power steering, the center link is not available no where, no way. Used is the only way you can get one. Good luck.
