I had 3 people ask about it when I lived at a duplex, 1 of which offered $1500 without looking the car over - just making sure all the parts I removed I still had.

A maintanence worker for the same duplex was really excited about it and bothered my sister (room mate at time) for about 20 minutes trying to get a price and the info. He eventually left his name and number but I never got back to him.

Another time a really nice silver cadillac (really new) rolled up my street. Then down my street. Then up and into my driveway. An older gentleman asked the details on it even though I told him it was not for sale. He left his name (Harley), phone number, and an address of where he could be reached which turned out to be a mansion near the airport here in Des Moines. I still dont wanna sell it though so no follow up.

While working on my car this past week in an apartment complex garage I have had at least 3 passerbys inquire and a Mexican guy say "Nice car :D". I think that was probably the extent of his english though lol. Seemed like a nice fella though.

All put back together I wouldn't let my car go for less than $2k even though I only paid $950.

had a person looked all over at my job to find me, to see if i will sell my car...told him no.... but if he was willing to buy it for 3k i would be willing then. He thought about it then asked for my cell #. Also he thought it was a mustang :rofl2: didnt bother to correct him.

Had a guy offer me 4K for the Sprint... I said it wasnt for sale...He asked how much it would take to buy it...I told him to come back after I finished my other Maverick and we would talk...His response..." You have more than one of these things?!"...o_O

Some drunk guy offered me $1800 and said he used to have a 69, and loved those cars and wanted another. I told him no it's my first car and I'm never going to sell it unless I really have to. Other than that I've had tons of people ask if I wanted to sell it, but I probably never will.

I'd think about it real hard if someone waved about $6500-$7000 in my face. I know it'll be sold someday and something else started.

About 5yrs ago I was at a gas station and a guy had $5,000 in cash wanting to buy it off me. It made me wonder if he just got out of a casino or something. Told him $12,000 at the time, but he didn't have the money. lol.
As to put a price on to sell it. I would let it go if someone offered me $16,000. But that would be hard to give up. Since it is the first car I bought and I love the hell out of that car. I have gone through 3 other cars and always kept the mav.

I had mine parked at a friends house for a few years and people would always stop and bug him for my number. One guy called and said "I want work for car" I was confused. "You want to work on my car?" "No, I work for your car" "Work for my car? you mean do labor and get the car? I'm just a young guy, I don't have any work for you to do."

Nobody has ever offered me anything for mine. But then it would probably have to leave the garage for that to happen, huh?

    I need a hobby.

$3500 cash from a guy who stopped to look at my pickup.
    A 2005 Crown Victoria with nice 20"rims and a 1000w stereo plus $1500 cash.

Both offers within the last month.
