I got home at 11:30 last night, I am just now getting on the computer. I had a list of things to do when I got home!! Thanks to Dan for putting on a great show and it was fun seeing everyone. Dave, thanks for opening my beer, Craig, thanks for the ride in my car and for keeping me warm in the cave, Dennis and Carole, thanks for the long ride and putting up with my music and nudity, Doug, thanks for taking all those pics, Ill get you my CD soon, Frank and Effie, thanks for inviting me to breakfast (that was funny), I could go on and on but to everyone else, I had a great time visiting with you. MO ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!
Well it was great seeing all the people at both get togethers. No, we're not home yet. We're back in Las Lunas, NM., but just overnight at the motel this time. Will be home by tomorrow night if nothing happens. Been so uneventful this trip that I had to change a flat tire for an older couple from North Carolina at one of our stops. (See, there really are people older than me still driving) They were trying to use a socket to get the lug nuts off. I got my 4 way and the trailer aid and had it changed for them in a couple of minutes. Frank I got you beat in the miles, but I don't have a final figure yet. Will post tomorrow night when we get back home. Do I get to add the mileage from the Maverick too?
Well, we got home a little while ago. No major problems, but had a shake start about 100 miles from here. Slowed down and made it the rest of the way home. I think 1 of the truck tires is seperating. Will have it checked out tomorrow. Total mileage on the truck was 3519 miles. I don't know how many we put on the Maverick in Joplin and Hannibal, but had a great time.
