How did my pinion angle get so out of whack over the years?

    It makes it easier, but no. You're comparing the trans tail shaft angle to the rear pinion angle.

    I am keeping mine on the ground while I do this. Makes it harder to see the protractor, because it sits so low. But I did not want to start jacking the car up and cause some of the angles to set artificially.
