how many mavericks or comets are just sitting in your area?

There is a '73 Maverick sitting in my area. It is a yellow 302 car with a Grabber hood. It has been sitting for about 6 months. I have stopped a couple of times but nobody has come to the door.

Where in VA is this junkyard?

I know the guy I bought my 74 from has one 2 door grabber and atleast two four door cars still sitting in woods. There's a 2door comet sitting across from work at a old tow yard. And I just found a 73 two door for sale in cave city Arkansas. 302 auto. I'm sure possibly more in hills I haven't seen yet..

 

I think I bought them all in atleast a 50 mile radious of me lol. MAV1970 is that Comet a white GT? If so yeah place is scary lol. I ask once a yr going on ten yrs its for sale nope. And I offerd decent money for it.

Yes Chris, white GT with black stripes. It is up on Slocum Road outside of Mountain Top - Maybe the only thing that will be any good on it anymore will be the scope

 

In the past 3 years, I'd say I have stumbled across 20. Of those 20, I bought 6 of them. The remaining ones were either too far gone, 4drs, or at junkyards and I got the good parts off them already.

Well... I was hoping no one would catch on to that, I caught myself just yesterday wanting to ride the older parts of the city and look for more Mavericks/Comets, you know I still want to build a Cosmic Blues version of a Comet

 

None that I know of now. There was a Grabber and a Comet GT that one guy owned, but I gave a member here the info and he purchased both of them.
