My car has been pretty much Done for the last 13 years. Ive gotten bored with it alot. In the meantime ive worked on a few 5.0 Mustangs and passed the time that way. sometimes Id come up with a new project for the maverick and work on it for a while, most recently was the T5 swap. Now its sitting until i come up with something else to do on a smaller scale to entertain myself. I have all kinds of little things I need to do but not exciting enough to get me to do them.

Maybe you just need to let it sit for a while Dave. Work on something else until you get tired of working on things and then realize you have a perfectly good car already and go for a drive.

I like the making it look even more stock option since you already have every thing you need around to do it Dave.

I vote stock hood and Magnums. The look is timeless.

It'll never get repainted, I've got a lot invested in that paint job.

Not to mention its a awesome paint scheme.
The more I look at your car Dave, the more I want to "borrow" your build.
If nothing else will do a model version. (y)

Have you tried the "New" wheels for the brown car on it? I change wheels a couple of times a summer keeps people guessing!

Yeah, I looked up BFG tire specs and this is exactly right as far as available diameters in that tire go ... and BFGs tend to run big for their nominal size anyway. That is why I suggest stepping the rears up to 15s ... with the right size you would get diameter back, and with the wheel centered, you ought to be able to go wider than 245, which is the largest 14 inch available.

No you aint...Buy some argent centered 69 boss 302 style magnum 500s'...Then you can claim its a boss Mav and get more $$ for it. Seriously though...I am considering the 69 boss style magnums for my current build...Think they look really cool and different while still being in the familliar to Mavericks vein.
