I would start with a 72 four door and turn it into a wagon using an 85 LTD wagon roof. SHO v6, t56, 8.8 rear, jaguar front suspension, trade mark fender cuts, Torino GT tail light, side fuel door, stock or comet gt scoop, same front air dam I have now, 17" or 18" wheels, and all the custom crap my car has now. Have someone else paint it so it's perfect, color maybe metalic red.

If money were no object. A fully billet space frame chassis. The baddest Ford DOHC mod motor you've ever seen, 76mm twin turbo, intercooler the size of a frig in the front, Quaife 8speed sequential gearbox with paddle shifters on the steering wheel. 19x13 forged 3 pc wheels in the rear w/345/35/19 tires 18x10's up front w/285/40/18 tires. 14in rotors all around with 8 piston calipers. Completely custom carbon fiber body with integrated/hidden roll cage, chopped roof, flush mounted glass. Carbon fiber backed bucket seats with billet aluminum cage covered in leather but only from the finest organically feed and barb wire free cattle farm Europe has to offer. Gauges custom made by Rolex. 300 Terabyte on board computer system (liquid cooled of course). GPS, Blu-ray player, dolby digital wifi 10 speaker surround sound with 15 inch sub. A rear spoiler that pops up @ 120 mph, and automatically adjust to different angle once 275 mph is reached. Yeah thats about it.:D

Well, I would start with my blue 70, cut off all the subframe and front srtucture. Then build a full 2X3 frame with a 4" stretch to the front. I would strip out the interior but finish it, even doing the finish work to the floor pans and painting the inside body color with glue down pads where my feet would be. For the engine I would set it back as far as I could without getting into the windshield. I would use a stroked 4.6 DOHC mod motor with Kinsler EFI with the separate 8 stacks and the stacks would be at least a foot high to look old school. I have seen some valve covers for this motor that look like old hemi covers, it would have to have those. The motor itself would have to be a fairly high winding piece. The headers would come out over the frame and dump out behind the front wheels where you can see them, they would have cutouts so when on the street they would flow through a full exhaust. I would stretch the front fenders 4" behind the front wheelwells. I would run a stretched flat hood so that it would draw as much attention to the fuelie stacks as possible. I would run the small bumper with a retro tube grill, maybe leave off the lower valance(have to see how it looks). The grabber spoiler for sure. Now for the suspension. I would raise the car up run a 9" with coil overs and old style ladder bars that reach up to the front seats. A straight axle up front. Both front and rear ends would be chromed, well for that matter anything I could unbolt and chrome would be. The paint would be either purple or blue metalflake(just smaller than bass boat flake(y)) with white/yellow/orange/red faded flames. The front wheels would be ET team 3's polished 10 spokes and the rears would be the Team 3 fuelies with the old school street slicks. The car would have to be streetable so I could drive it around, ALOT!! Wouldn't really want it to be a drag car at all, just for fun, of course would have to make a couple passes. I know Gassers were a thing of the past by the time mavericks came around but that is the look I would be going for.
