Had a '65 GTO 'vert, and a '70 Hemi Roadrunner when I was younger, and I loved them both. Also had a 340 Dart, and it was fun also. The Roadrunner was awsome, and scary fast. It is my favorite.

Mine would be the 1970 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler that I bought when I was 15 for $800. It had the 429 Cobra Jet and I eventually got it down into the low 12's high 11's before swapping the motor into a 68 Mustang. I always loved that car and would have another one today (if I won the lottery that is! The car's worth a mint today!). Memories...like the smiles we left behind...

Its a toss up between my first car,, 56 chevy 2dr which is still around, but not for sale, or my first 72 Grabber, which is probably long dead and now a microwave or something.

Without a doubt, hands down it would be my first car, rust and all. It was a 1970 Dodge Challenger, factory original color of Plum Crazy, sometimes referred to as the Super Grape (well at least the Hemi versions). Mine had the 318, was 383 originally, buckets, slapstick, 5 speaker am/fm, cruise, power windows, flat hood with factory pins, vinyl roof and the piece de resistance, electric moon roof. Seems Dodge only built 87 Challengers in 70 with that option, 20 were RT cars, so mine was one of 67 non-RT electric moon roof cars, factor in all of the options and that was one rare beast, 318 or not. I found a palm tree in the school yard whilst cutting donuts, still drove home, one block since I lived right across from said school. Later sold it to my buddy who was with me when it happened for a paltry sum of $300, God rest his soul. Dead at age 40 from natural causes, just like his dad and granddad before him, neither lived past 45.

Actually I wouldn't mind having my 1984 Mustang GT convertible back ... I sold it for $4,000 back in 2001 and it was in superb condition ... I do miss that car ... :(

I would have to say my grabber blue 1970 Boss 302 Mustang which I recently had to sell. Unfortunately Hurricane Katrina put salt water over the roof of the car and time and money did not allow me the opportunity to keep and fix it with everything else I had going on. Would love to have it back like it was the day I bought it.
The other car I have kicked myself time and time again for selling was a 1966 Mustang convertible with the factory hipo 289 with c4. It was Tahoe Turquoise with white power top, deluxe turquoise and white pony interior, console. Most of the hipo Mustangs came with 4 speeds which made this even more rare with the automatic. Finances caused me to have to sell the car back in 1984. I was the second owner of that car and it is worth a small fortune now. (I still have the original title to it since I had misplaced it at the time and filed for a lost title) Just keeping it as a souvenir.
Oh well, guess I'll just have to be happy with my Mavericks. :)
