Ignition switch ?

    I have one of those remote starter buttons you hook up to the solenoid. I like using it rather than a screw driver. I hook it up to see if the starter cranks from the solenoid. If not then I look from there to the starter and cables. If it does crank then I look towards the ignition switch. There are many ways to test and check what is going on.
    Always check the cables. Especially if the ends have clamp on ends. Too easy not to. I remember when I worked at Pep Boys they would bring me out the ends that have been painted red and black. Trash. Those things created allot of come backs.

    My no start condition was as simple as cleaning the battery posts and cable ends... The switch not returning to run will require a switch change...The spring in the cheap new switch is junk... I hope the NAPA switch is better...
