Well, your rig might not have a concourse paint scheme, but it runs like a raped ape!
I'm just average all around....semi ok looking,...semi sorta quick....handles semi ok..etc, etc...in other words, just a mediocre device. Winter months are look'in pretty good (save on liquid gold, save on cleaning, save face, etc, etc)

Comet155 you are so full of CaCa...When I seen your car all shiny, made me want to be shiny also. Both of our cars have something going for them. They look good, sound good, & go like a raped ape... Not bad for a couple of 73 Comets....

    Whoa, easy there Tex!
The roof is rotten (paint is cross-hatching and bubbling up), drivers side door is badly rusted (mostly bondo), rear quarters blow through every few years, pissy drum brakes, etc. But yeah, they're still easy on the eyes. I just know when I'm being out classed. I'm handing over the baton to the new champions.

Well Comet155, here is what I mean when I say, "mine doesn't shine nearly as well as yours." The following pics could be harmful to your eyes...Can you tell what the last 2 pictures are? If so, you have better eyes than myself...Trying to get it together...Is that enough primer for you courier11sec?

Here are some pieces that have been painted off the car. That "Cooper Copper Blast" looks great, with the "Gloss Black Metallic". What a color combo....Coming out better than imangined...Can't wait to see the rest of the car painted. Then comes the fun part, putting it back together & cleaning it....

Look'in sweet! Nice black scheme forward of the scoop. Start buttering up your painter now and tell 'em that you may have another customer for him soon. LOL!

Thats going to look great!!!!!!! Looks like all the color edges where it goes from black to copper are burried in clear. If so, thats an extremely nice detail.

Yes, it is! It was painted "gloss black metallic", masked off & painted "Cooper Copper Blast", then clearcoat applied over all of it...It looks awesome in person. The black looks sliver from different angles (very nice touch). The copper looks awesome as well & is one of a kind color...Talk about being different & personal. It will have me written all over it when it's finished...I love being different & out of the ordinary...

Give me a break!!! Between you & Comet155, I don't know if I'm coming or going...When I seen everyones cars at the Mini Meet, at the XXX Drive-In & the Graham Show, I knew I had better get the car painted & quick...I was being outclassed by everyone. All I was able to say was, "It's factory original paint". Now I can hang out with best of them...WooHoo!!!!
