inline 6 heads inter change

Yea the hex is just the intake, basically they switched to this style mid 77' to allow more air volume through the intake.

I have a head that I want to get machined for a 2 barrel adapter, I believe it came from a 77 250. Heres some pic's, will you tell me if it's a flat or hex head. If anyone that has done this will tell me what adapter I need that would help too. Thanks Rick

 

i think i get what he was saying so if im right it the flat one...........
and this head looks a lot like the 200 only real big differents that the carb set farther to the front of the moter

i was right i was looking on the inline six link above the make heads that the intake is removeable
