Is there a difference?

    That's the car I sold Rick. I couldn't find an LDO shelf with A/C ... so I removed the trim from the regular LDO shelf and trimmed it around the A/C registers and then attached it to the A/C shelf.

    That's just the only picture I could lay my hands on quickly. I could take one of one of the ones I have in stock, but I only wanted to reference what the LDO trays look like for those that may not have ever seen one.

    yeah the price suprised me too. which is why i want to list mine and try to get that much :). my maverick is a 74 so i have no use for the package tray.

    The LDO package was a mid-year offering begining in 1972 around January. The glove box became standard equipment around January 73 (which is the average mid year change). My 73 was made in June and it has the glove box. The sales brochures first show the glove box with the Jan. 1973 revision. And the LDO package is first shone in the 12/72 brochure revision. There were three 72 brochures and two 73 brochures printed.

    Three 71 Maverick Grabbers, a 72 302 Sprint, a 73 LDO 2door parts car, a 76 silver v8 Stallion.
    That would lead me to believe the padded package tray is actually a pretty rare item then.
