Ha, ha, good one...no it was the Marines setting off 1000 lb bombs at Camp Pendleton just behind me. J/K

Actually, I was trying to jack up the lower control arm to compress the spring and the angle of the arm on the jack caused it to slide and the whole car twisted off the other 3 stands. I was next to the car and not under it, but the car did fall towards me and I didn't have much room between me and the tool chest.

I would never work *under* a car unless it was properly on jack stands and is very stable. Mavowar, I don't think I want to hear your story, sounds too sad.

I had a car on my arm two weeks ago right at the wrist while changing a tire, it fell off of one of the little wimpy jacks that come with new cars(windy, on an incline, all of those bad things...). I was pinned between the fender and the spare tire(not on the car yet) that luckily protected me from getting broken. It was pinned there while the jack had to be twisted down and then back up again, it was a long time. I didn't take my arm out of my jacket until I wasn't at risk of passing out anymore, but amazingly it didn't break. It hurts to think about it though(or when I look at those pictures!).
