    Mav All The Way Baby!!!!

When I got my 74 four door Maverick about a month ago I traded my 91 Subaru Loyale for it. Long story short I saw the potential in the car and knew my brother wan't going to do anything with it. The thought of my brother just driving this car back and forth to work until he blew the 302 and then paying $50 to have it towed away broke my heart.

My wife almost choked when I told her that I wanted to trade cars with my bro but she just took a deep breath and floored me when she said Okay. Now she is glad that she gave me the go ahead because now I spend all my spare time working on the car and doing research on how to make it a screaming street car instead of downloading porn.

All in all I am totaly falling in love with my Maverick despite all the crap that I catch from everyone for wanting to make it an awesome machine.

I would have to agree that those people who do crack on the Mavericks haven't ever seen one truely restored. They have old images of the grocery getter.

I personally haven't run into that very much, mostly a lot of positive comments from people who haven't seen one in a long time. People seem to love to tell you the one they had or their friend who had one etc.

It's great to see them getting in the magazines like it was already mentioned. When I had my first Maverick back in 85' I always looked for others in magazines etc. for people who had the same idea about this cars as I did, and to no avail, I never seen much press.

This cars have come a long way, the future only looks brighter!
