Magnum 500 wheels question

    Those beauty rings tend to scratch the wheels up bad. I'd hate to see you mess up the two good ones. Maybe two good rims on one side of the car and trim rings on the other until you can locate two more good rims? Mustang parts guys at swap meets tend to have used 14s pretty frequently.

    Most likely not. I had a set of 14" and did a 1977 Maverick disk conversion. The old wheels would not fit the hub. If you look at my Maverick picture, you will see steel rims. In fact these HAD TO BE "disk brake rims too... even normal 14"s will not fit.

    I would see no reason why a Magnum 500 wheel would not fit a disc brake car.

    Agreed, the 14" Magnums were options on 1970 Torino & Mustang with/without disc brakes.

    BTW this thread is a dozen years old.:eek:o_O
