    i have 2 jobs, one is for the local Better Business Bureau and the other is as a parking attendant at the local sports arena (savemart center). And i still go to school full time, Im studying criminology so that i may become a correctional officer then become a parole officer. So yeah i have no life in calif. i still have plenty of time left in the day to do nothin. (y)

    if your not still running that little stock fan, id check the thermostat. once its around 200 squeeze the top hose(with a rag or glove). it should be somewhat squishy, if it isnt then the thermostat isnt opening all the way. of course your vacuum leak could be running it lean which will make it hotter also.... good luck

    i have replaced the theromstat and coolant, i was running a 180 now im running a 160. today the car seemed like it got worse, it actually shut off on me and the alt. light came on, this car is freakin me out. I have no idea what to do any more and im thinkin of giving up. Mayb i should take my moms advice and sell the girl. i dont know.

    the alt light always comes on when the engine shuts off because the alt i no longer turning and the ignition is on. i still think you may be running high temp because of the vac leaks that are keeping it from running smooth. patience my young friend, once you find the vac leaks and make sure your carb is adjusted good you will find it very worth your while to keep the mav(y)

    grrrr paitence is one thing im running out of on this. its ruff for 3 months i didnt have herm then to get her running only to have more things fail on me, as soon as i got her running i blew the alternator, the drive line half way fell out while i was on the freeway and now shes over heating. not to mention someone cut my power steering line, and i blew out my front turn signals and radio. im going to cry. this y women r not mechanics, i would cry all day lol i need a hug :yup:
