    Its happened TWICE before. At our only other 2 events we have ever planned. One was a date I chose. the other was Tony's fault, well he didnt choose the date but said we should meet at a big cruise downtown that was already scheduled. With how rare it rains here what are the odds of it raining 3 days in same year that we happen to schedule an event?

    Hi Miguel, we should let everyone in on what has happened historically. It seems that every time we try to meet up here in Phoenix (at least the last two or three times in the last year) it has rained. It NEVER rains here. If we had planned for rain it wouldn't have ever happened. So it seems like we are cursed, or maybe just the Desert Mavericks are.

    SPEEDWORLD CANCELLED ALL RACING ON SUNDAY. the webiste says Cancelled due to continued high Heat. Sorry guys but the curse continues.

    Sorry but I'm going to the mountains for a couple of weeks to cool off. Will be back Friday for NHRA Nationals at Firebird. Anyone else going that day? I only go on Friday. :)
