Any of your local Auto Body suply stores will carry a door bottom repair piece, it has a ( J ) bend at the bottom and will be about 4" longer then your door, Place the sheet metal in place, and with a sharp pencil trace out the front and rear edge of you door, add 1/2 inch at the front and rear,to make your bends,, take a grinder and grind the edge of your rusted door bottom until the skin seperates, ( Only go as high as your replacement metal, and also leave about a 1/4" to weld to on your door. cost on that metal is prob about $14. Take your time,,, so you do not warp your door durring welding, just small tacs,, and stagger them,.
Glad to see you back & doing well. Can't wait to see the book in print. I need to read it, to get the ending. Can't stand to be left hanging....LOL
Back in business ! Hi Joe: Glad to hear you've weathered the storm and are making new products for these cars. I still have a couple of battery trays I purchased from you a while back at your "old" price. Let me know what your "new" price is going to be. Cometized
The Battery tray assemblies are going to have another production run,, But I know we need the floor repair pannels and rockers, our last 2 Batery tray assemblies will be going out the door here today,, We are going to run more here soon,,, So ya might just have the last 2 around for a while
Well the first run we had no clue how many to make so the price was higher due to the fact I had to shoot in the middle for a amount to produce,, The floor pans are a diferant story we are producing a large amount of them so the cost is very good,, the new production of the trays is still in the air,, we are not yet sure of the production numbers,, all as I know they are not cheap to make,, If we had a hundred people say they wanted them and ordered them I would take that number and add 100 and get the prices down, But I will keep every one posted on all the parts as they come up, In my photo Gallery is a pic os the part number and list of what we are making,, click on the pic make it large and save to your pc.
I'd like to see some pictures, before anyone gets too excited. Either of the dies required to stamp the floors, or some floors themselves. I will be the first one to admit to being wrong, when I have a set of these in my hands. There is no reason to get everyone all wound up, only to end up in the same place as before, others have tried and failed. Lets see some proof.
