sounds cool here, how about if a few owners arn't too far from each other? you wes and i arnt very far from each other, and lima ohio is just 2 turnpike exits from the PA border, that puts a bunch of us in one spot. could make for a neat picture..

I just looked, those disposable digital camras are $12.99 at my local drug store and have 27 exposures. just to let you know you can have film from any camra put on a CD at the Ekard pharmacy.

fyi, those disposable cameras get re manufactured when you take them in.

In other words, we can save money by popping the back off of them and simply sticking in a new roll of film, no reason to spend $13 a pop on 5-10 cameras.

Steve, Lima Ohio is on the western side of Ohio( a little more than 2 exits) You must be thinking North Lima which is near Youngstown. But having more than two folks show up is cool also, just have to figure out who will take the camera. I'll let this go for another week or so, then I'll start to map out the locations of everyone that sends me an e-mail at russsmav@yahoo.com (I'm using that address for just this event) Please send me an e-mail if you are interested in doing this. I'm going to use the e-mails as a record. In other words if you don't send me an e-mail I'll assume your not interested and wouldn't put you on the list. Keep the ideas coming guys this looks promising Russ :bananaman

Something else I thought of. These cars are old, and some will probably break down on the way. Or some might break down before the event even starts. Couple of solutions
    1. If enough time is given to organize, a backup vehicle in an area could certainly be a value as to getting the mission completed. With people possibly having to plan around personal schedules, this might be a salvation.
    2. State Reps to the club could volunteer as rescue teams to aid if a car breaks bad. We have a HUGE street rod event going on here this weekend, they always have a rescue team with truck, trailer and plenty of tools. They have done everything from picking up cars that have hit deer, to actually repairing the car on the roadside and off the car went again.

Also, I can see some of us just getting our cars out to caravan for awhile with the actual people doing the event. Within this could be answers for backup cars.

I'd be interested in helping out in the Florida area...I live in Central Florida, I could meet up with anyone from the Northern Florida or Georgia area and head south with the camera...
