Actually I gave Doug 7 dots, they're just piled on top of each other. :) Seriously, this is starting to look more like an east coast, west coast deal, we'll see. Russ

Ray we need someone to drive from Texas to Calif. You up for that?? Just kidding. I'm still working on this so don't think I gave up. It's starting to look like the west coast folks will have to recieve a camera by mail  Right now I'm going to focus on getting a eastern route mapped out. Then if anyone can fill the holes between the east and west, we'll try to do that too. But for right now the east coast folks have my main attention. Remember I still need e-mails to confirm that your in. at russsmav@yahoo.com Thanks Russ

planning for a April 17th 2004 Kick off day. It may take a year to complete this event so everyone should have time to put a car on the road. Russ

Too bad this wasn't organized last year when I was laid off. I would have had all the time in the world to come out to California and deliver the camera! :D

    Hey Doug,
How many friends can you get over to your house at a particular time? The reason I ask is because I think you should round up all the friends you trust, and, starting before April, have them drive out to California, each in a different Mav or Comet. Each of them needs to stop at a different point, and camp out for a while waiting for the camera to reach them. This effectively solves the problem and bridges the gap between Texas and California! If you wanted to, you, along with the camera, could transfer cars each time. That way you would technically drive to California in your car, or should I say cars. :D :D J/k!
