Last year on our bike trip down through Tennessee and the Carolinas, we had a light tan colored Comet GT behind me somewhere around a town called Madisonville. I dont remember which state it was in. It had a Mach I type spoiler mounted on the trunk. He followed us for a short distance and I managed to take this picture aiming the camera over my shoulder before he turned off.

i wish i had pics of the mav's ive seen. i never have a camera around when i see them.

i hate to think of this but when i was just getting into Mav's we were talking to a napa guy and he says "oh i have a Maverick" so we drove up there and got the shoulder belts and some other little things. but the sad thing is, there was 4 Mav's and a small bumper Comet all in good shape. at the time we didn't realize just how hard it would become to find parts. so later he told us they were all gonna be crushed because they needed them off the property. never crossed my mind to ask if i could just pay him scrap value :(

Excellent picture! Its nice to see one when you least expect it! Even better if you can take a picture. I saw a copper 4 door Maverick on I 275 recently but is was to far behind me in heavy traffic. I only saw it in my review mirror!!

Saw this one last summer coming back from a car show in Port Credit parked. I don't think it had a motor in it, but nice to see, just love the random sightings.

OK thats crazy. I know that car. We had lunch in the restaurant beside it. Coming back from fishing Port Credit. First thought was its got no motor. I forgot about that one till I saw the pic. I recognized it before I read the post. Its on Lakeshore. That car may me mobile. I'm sure it was parked parallel to the grass when I saw it.
