Was a lot of fun at the drag racing night. I think Robert Raney had the best burnout on the final run. But it wasn't in his Maverick. He raced John Ford and each of them were in their tow vehicle with trailers and cars loaded on them. John Ford won with a 22.02 Robert ran a 22.04. Don't recall the reaction time. What a way to close out the track for the night.

Ole John's just gonna have to wait till next year. I'll wait till he gets his new motor in and maybe he'll stand a chance.

Just for info, wish I could have made it too, but my youngest son's wife(23) yrs. old, had a stroke in Colorado. He returned from Iraq and got married in Jan. She is recovering slowly but still has a long way to go. Andysutt was his best man.

Anyway's, if anybody is leaving Joplin on Saturday, and going down 540 to I-40, thought I would let you know that our track is trying a PRO/NO/E race, with 700.00 purse. Starts around 7:00 along with regular street racing and tnt. Mavman is going to race his Maverick too. Directions: Take I-40 towards Little Rock, when you get towards Russellville and highway 7 south exit, take it towards Hot Springs. Go across the Arkansas river through Dardenelle and continue on 7 until you come to the intersection of 154 and 7, Centerville. Turn right and go 1 mile to the dragstrip. Lot's of fun and would hope maybe some of you might come.

If any of you decide to go let us know!

I don't plan on going but if some of you are stopping in I can make a trip out of it.

Maybe next year Dave, todd and myself can make it.

The car show was a great success.....Had a few surprise cars show.....

With gas prices and changing the area it is traditionally held......hindered the car count just slightly......We had 22 cars total.......just a tad down from last year but considering the aforementioned issues I and everybody else consider it a

    Huge Success!!!!!
Besides it isnlt the cars that make this show it's the
    People!!!!!!!!!
I hope and I think I can voice the entire MCG communities opinion We hope ore of you make it next year car or no car. I am going to bring up to vote a new class next year....

    Best of No SHOW
Take poloriods and date prove them and bring them on out to the the show!!!!

We will see where that goes!!!!!

    Having a killer time!!!!!!!
    LANCE!!!!
