what are you doing? Street car?

Stahl makes a set, called windsor pro-gas A-arm headers, fits windsor based engines. They fit a M2 front end but they hang down quite a bit. Too low for a street car for sure. But for a race car, they work good.

Mine are 1 7/8" primaries and 3 1/2" collectors. I have pics I think if you want.

I also saw a set that didn't go under the car, but didn't know who made them. Maybe they were on a dragster--but it looked like they'd work or could be made to work.

Also, try a set of late 70's Van headers. Friend of mine has a Maverick with a 357 windsor and runs headers on it that were originally designed for the late 70's van with a 351w. They fit nice. Sorry, no pics.

Well, honestly my goal is a race car that I drive on the street. It will be a back and forth to work car( about 20 miles round trip) during fair weather, and a weekend cruiser/drag racer. Pretty much a take it out to have fun with car, not your AVERAGE commuter by any means. :D I have other vehicles to commute and go on road trips with.

I plan on a nasty fuel injected 408/418/427 with a 5 or 6 speed. I am still trying to decide if I want a faceplated tranny or not. I think it would be tons of fun at the track, but that is still in the air.

I would build headers if it came down to it. I dont think it would be SO bad with the room that the MII swap would afford, though I bet I can find a set close enough to mod at least.

Hahahaha!!! Yeah I see your point. I meant not a Topaz-type commuter. It will be a wild ride back and forth to work, so I dont consider it commuting. Not to mention, 10 miles each way is hardly a commute. :D

Hey Russ, can you post those width dimensions one day when you get some time? I wonder how close your motor is to a 302 or 351 in width.

    Thanks for the help :)

BTW, I found a couple Falcon people running RCM M2 setups and they are running fox body shorties. I think one is running standard primaries and one is running equal length. They seem to fit fine according to them. The kicker seems to be steering shaft clearance in most apps apparently.

Not sure what dimensions you need, but the LS-1 motor is 19.5" wide between the header flanges (which angle inward slightly at the bottom). Anything more specific, feel free to ask!
