Mini North Texas Meet?

sorry i couldnt make it last night had car problems and didnt make it home in time to get my mav and go out there.. I am going out there tursday if any one is intrested on going and i am for sure sunday so i well go if any one wants to meet up

 

I didnt see anyone out there last night....maybe next time...

 

I get to DFW on Sunday April 25 and leave on the 29th. Shorter stay then I had planned on. This darn job ruins all my fun.

I lived in Grand Prairie in '79-'82. Got home sick and moved back here. Still have some friends in Arlington, Grapevine and Grand Prairie

 

crap i dont have the day off: took my 02 mustang has a crack in i think the dealership said my manifold, so no compression ?? what the heck that is a brand new trickflow manifold.. and i didnt get one of those warrenty papers but i ordered it form jegs and do they have a warrenty program? i pulled out of the box 3 weeks ago and i think i orderd warrenty from trickflow so i am going to call them tomrrow and get a new one!!

 

i'm taking my vacaton next week, so hopefully i'll see you guys , i'll be working on my lil cyclone, i won't get it all done. we'll anyway, hope i get a chance to stop by

 

soooo is anyone going? let me know when , i can be there really this time.

I might go tonight (Thursday) with some friends to work on the cars if somting goes wrong

 

OK so who can make it there this sunday? i'm taking my heads apart today to take to the machine shop so they can cut em for bigger valves, hopefully i can get most of my parts this coming week, that way i can start/finish building my motor, anyway is sunday going to be good for all us texas ford fanatics?

 

I well be there sunday..dont have to work or anything planed just going to go drive around if it is nice

I still want to meet all you guys,just working quite a bit right now, The church that I go to just lost their pastor by cancer and I am on the pulpit committie, We have been interviewing men on Sundays for the pastor job, I feellike a nickel interviewing a dollar to see if he is worth anything.

 

so is anyone going this thursday? i'm going to try, weather permitting. i'll be bringing my teen age boys, my 17 year old likes fords and my 16 year old ummm well he likes shitties wait i mean shivvvveeeuoooo i can't seem to say that word, oh where did i go wrong with him, maybe i need to send him to counceling.... anyway as long its not down pouring anymore we'll be there...

 

i have to work form 6-11 but i have next thrusday off wich i know for fact i am going my dad wants to race me in his 305 nova!!! hopefuly i well have my car fixed

 

I'll try to get our Mav. up to Kennedale one Sunday soon. Can't do it this Sunday though. We probably won't race but it will be cool to see what's going on.

 

You guys may be interested in doing laps around TMS. A few times a year they do laps for charity. May 8 is when the next one is scheduled. $25 for 3 laps. We were going to take the Mav. and my other car but I screwed it up today. May still take the Mav. by itself though.
