moving to california: smog test?

    That is until the environmental nazi down the street decides he does not like your car because it is not a hybrid and turns you into the state for living here and not registering the car in CA.

    I do not know if it is still up and running but at one time either the CHP or state had a website where you can "report" the cars of people who live in CA but drive out of state cars. My advice change your plans and not come to CA if at all possible. I grew up here and can not wait to get our of here.
