    That is pretty much how mine sound.

    Mine are only 3" thick rather than 4" thick like the 40s. It gives it a little different sound, but not by much.

    That sounds GREAT!!!

    It does. I think the relationship with my glasspacks is is on shaky ground now.

    That's my brother in law at first and me wanting to stab the go pedal at the end. I still have to trim up the flex and hang the mufflers securely but they are really nice sounding. A local mechanic took them off a Mustang he is making into a dragcar and saved them for me. $25 for both is a steal. I feel like I robbed him.
    The cam will come eventually. I'm thinking mild street cam for a good lope and a 4 barrel intake to match the 600 Holley I have and I'll have all I need to be happy for a while.
    Then it's on to heads and rear gears.

    what a great deal , I put flows on almost everything i get... and i am trying to tell my self my diesel pick up will sound better with one on it????

    Flowmasters Rule! I have 40's on the '73 Stang conv and the black '69 XR7 htp. I also have 50's on the '69 XR7 conv and the Stang Sprint. 40's are much more aggressive sounding. I am always having people comment on the '73's exhaust sound. What a deal you got on them. Congrats!!
