Hey guy's I am planning on driving up sat/sun, got the bumpers swapped, and now I have an extra bumper anyone needs one for free, also I have the sunvisor's, I will check with Tom for a set of slicks he has, What size do you need, I also bought a set of older Alum. mags and tires for the new mav, so now I have 4 rims if any of you need them, a couple of the tires have weather cracks, but the other two are O.K. Also the mav at Nisqually is still there and alot of parts left let me know if there is something you need and I could possibly bring them up. Talk to you later. Marty

if your running 13.99 or quicker you need a drive shaft loop and helmet (at least snell 90 rating). if you run 13.00 or slower with street tires you don't need a loop. in the 11's you need a roll bar. no shorts or tank tops allowed in competition. lot's of people show up in shorts. good luck. have fun.:D

    Hey Cliff,
Do you have an 8" posi center section (pumpkin) with 3.55 or 3.70 gears? I'm looking for one.
    Hey Marty,
I could use that free bumper if you still have it.
    Thanks you guys!

Sorry all I have left is a 9" posi(3.50geared) and a open 8"(3.00geared)...I sold my last 8"posi about a month ago at our local swap meet for $150. I used to find them in Mustangs ('75-78)...it seems about every 15th or 20th one would have a posi. I found two but it took about 4 or 5 years...

Marty, I think 26x10 fits our cars, but I'm not certain on that.
The 275/60/15's I have on there now seem to be about as big as I can go. They are 28" tall and about 9" tread width. Thanks for checking.
I recently got a couple of grills I can bring if anyone needs. neither one is perfect, but they both have good lights in them. one with and one without the crosshair bezel.
Also I have a V8 throttle cable if anyone is interested.

I might be interested in your V8 throttle cable as I'm still using my 6cyl one...what do you want for it?
My slicks are 26X10 and fit with room to spare plus they don't kill your gear ratio at the track... my street tires are a tad larger...295/50/15.(11.3" wide) When we get to the track you should try them out and see how they fit...they fit mine perfectly..no rubbing at all!

sounds great Cliff I'd love to. What kind of wheels are they on? should I bring extra lug nuts?
We'll talk about the cable when you've had a chance to see it. I'm not too attatched to it.

    I just use standard acorn nuts. 15"rim, 8"wide with a 4"offset

Hey Ray....I could use a grill for a 72 Maverick. Can you bring one with you?
Guess what? I got my slicks today & then had them mounted on steel wheel mags. The rims were $40 a piece & the tires (McCready slicks) were free. Hope they help me hook up & get close to the 13's. I might have insite on a posi 3.55 pumpkin $200, but won't be in time for the drags. I'll let you know how it pans out.
Hey Marty....are the wheels you have 4 lug? If so, I need them for my 72 Maverick. What year bumper do you have? I might be able to use it too.

    Coop-
Both grills I have are the later style with the lights in them rather than the early one with the emblem in the center.
