When your ready ... just buy a blank one and send it to me ... I'll scan it and we can get it done ....
Here is Ralph's original 71 Grabber Sticker ... I elaborated on the Grabber package so folks at cars show's could learn what a Grabber was ... Notice that even the original window sticker makes no mention of a 302 ... and Ralphs car built fairly late into the Model year ... June 71 ...
Mine's bogus....somewhat. I did this last year. I had it at the Roundup but few people payed attention. Tim Wilmoth sent me a scan of his original window sticker. I have the DMV history-so the dealer listed on mine is correct. I made it a '73 since I did the bumper swap. Seth This is Tim's: Mine: I made mine using MS Publisher. I watermarked the cat on the FLM sign and inserted it. You can barely see it in Tim's scan. I used many of his price figures. I just added a few items and guessed at prices. Note I also identified the features of the 'GT package'.
Got a bunch of friggin con artists on here. Hmmm...don't know if I'm happy or sad? Let me put my shades on so you can't tell!
Hey Seth ... that looks great! I did not see that on your car last year ... or at least I don't recall seeing it ....
I had considered... ...trying to reproduce my build sheet. I never found mine. I bought this window sticker and build sheet for a '72 GT off of E-bay. I decided making a build sheet was a bit too difficult.
I don't have mine either ... I wouldn't know what to enter in all the blanks ... and that is something I would want correct ...
Yea, only way I could see it would be to figgure out what the diffrent codes were for each thing. 90% of whats on the one for my Grabber is just seemingly meaningless codes for each option, such as "Suspension: FRONT: BAT BAT REAR: LAG LAG" or "pulley: 108AA" . I have no idea what any of it means. The window sticker is the only paper I don't have to that car. I have everything else down to the 1975 State Farm insurance cards and mini calender. Ray, that would be too cool! People would be seriously scratching their head then.
Your option list shows a 4-speed with Hurst shifter but down in the blue section they only say available transmissions are a 3-speed manual or optional automatic.
The 302 and disc brakes aren't on there either. I think he needs to take all that stuff back off. Change it all back Dan...before I have to turn you in.
Here is what the LAG means on the build sheet: By the way Dan, I have the original build sheet for my 1972 Grabber.
Intresting, do you know what it meant, or was it just a part number? The original front passenger side spring from my Grabber still has the factory tag on it by some miracle. I'll have to see if it matches the build sheet next time I go to NC.
