My air filter housing was stolen!!

    or you could modify your stock latch to lock. Its easy all you do is cut a tab off. Thats what i did, now it wont open from the outside unless you operate the pull cable that i installed. When fellow maverick owners come check out my car its the first thing that they notice. If you do a search you can find the thread i made about it, i also made a video to show how it operates.

    Thanks, my dad and I put a chain onto the bolt from the latch. Wish I'd a thought to do that before!

    So if my luck could be any worse, I left my Mave at my parents house and borrowed my mom's 1990 Cutlass, so I could go back and forth to work, parked in front of my house last night, came out this morning and it had been stolen. Can't believe the car luck I'm having.

    Looks like my dad will have to fabricate something for my Mave! And hopefully mom's car is recovered.

    Is anyone else experiencing the rise in crime? I'm blaming the crappy economy!
