update! fenders are ready for primer tomorrow. And there under coated. And work on the hood started today. hopfuly get the hood done tomorrow so the fenders, hood, deck lid, and rear valance can get primered all at once.
I use a 3M ratel can under coating. Before the under coating i always use etching primer on the bare metal areas. That way if water ever gets through the under coating, the metal is still protected.
nother update the spoiler, deck lid,and rear valance are primerd. wasnt able to get the fenders in because we found some flaws in the body lines. so that was a bumer. The primer is a sprayable bondo, also known as polyester primer. It gets rid of any little pin holes in body work and gets rid of scratches. It basicly will help the paint come out better. It looks shinny right now because i took the pics while it was still wet. I was surprized that we didnt have to do any body work on the deck lid. Its in amazing condition. injoy -kris
