Need help!! no power at ignition coil.

    What plug?? Do you mean the resistor jump wire??? If that's the case check for voltage on that post of the solenoid(wire disconnected), should be zero unless starter is cranking... If there is voltage on the wire with ign off, you have another wiring issue or maybe a bad/misadjusted ign switch...

    it sounds like the ignition switch is coming apart. ive had this happen. requires a new switch.
