Oh yeah it was awesome here, nice and sunny in the mid 40's today, tomorrow its supposed to be rain/snow mix and back in the 40's by sunday.... and hey I just found out there is supposed to be some big hoorah game on TV on sunday... my wife was telling me something about it and some giant patriots or something...
One degree off of the equator; it's either hot as 77E4 or thunderstorming like you've never experienced! Those are my daily choices...
Yeah but there is only one of those that I know of it is a pretty car... and the comments on the boards get downright nasty when that car gets posted, the Chebby boys go nuts... But like the members who have done similar things to their cars on this board, gotta appreciate the work that they did..or in some cases the work they paid to have done... to get that engine in there but its still not my cup of tea, I think for the most part he ruined the car, just have to ask if it was done for shock value more then anything... But honestly I would have rather had the Camaro with just a stock 350.
AS a Chrysler tech I would ask how your going to deal with the skim/wcm depending what year you have. If the pcm and skim dont talk it dont start. Just make sure you really plan ahead. After the mechanical struggle your going to have to get the electronics all figured out. You'll also need a data link connector so you can talk to the modules. If it was mine I would go with a carb set up and the Mopar controller for the Hemi coil on plug ,cam and crank sensors. If you need any Chrysler specific info fire me a PM. Glad to help. Thought about a nice carb'd 5.7 Hemi in my car since I can maybe get my hands on one.:16suspect No way will it fit though with towers. Be a hell of a nice engine for a Mav. Hope yours works out some how. I say go for it its a killer engine you have. Very impressive internals. Doesnt matter who built it. Engines are just as generic as vehicles now a days. The brand wars are long dead in my books.
I almost put a twin turbo Toyota inline six in an Econoline p/u. Almost. Lack of dollars nixed that project. Thank goodness for careful planning. Do what you want, it's yours. You'll find support from most, and silence or noisemaking from the nay-sayers.
