I have had many cars, and for the the most part I have built them from the ground up...........doing most of the work myself. Yes, it does get expensive, but with a little effort, enginuity, bartering, and scrounging you can get it done. The only car I have ever bought completely done was this Maverick...................and I have totally rebuilt the drive train and suspension.................so I've got a lot of my blood, sweat and tears invested in this car.
As for roadsters.....................they are a pain to drive in anything but perfect weather.................and are a lot like riding a motorcycle..........I prefer a steel roof over my head........................IMHO

I need to learn the art of the barter, seems a very useful skill.
Roadsters.. yeah I would guess that they are a lot like motorcycles in the wind in the face/ears aspect. If I manage to own one, it would be a show Sunday cruiser or show trailer baby :D

The only 2 cars I have owned, I have had to build up from junk/rolling chassis.
Takes me years...to get them where I feel safe to drive.
I should mention my monthly income is only $676...rent alone is $375 with 4 roomates.... gotta love it.

Someday....someday.. I will be able to live my dream in reality :bananaman
