Are you referring to the top brace or that other brace that sits behind the tire?

I think he was just RAZZING you a little. You were so thorough in your write-up with everything BUT reconnecting the upper shock tower brace. :biglaugh:

Nice job. I love the look of new billet aluminum.

Have you rolled it forward and back? These old suspensions sit high untill they settle

Actually I've been driving it a lot already since installing it. And it's awesome how nice the car handles. There is a lot less slop and even though I don't have a rear sway bar it handles great in a turn. I'm hoping it will still settle but realistically how much more?

I just got an email back from them and they said they would send out the 2" drop bracket. I'll install it and see if it will make a difference. I figure I'm still going to be using some spacers to get the ride height I want.

Do they have a Mav specific kit? I did'nt see anything on their site on it. Maybe I overlooked it? Looks like a nice setup.

    Mo,
I thought you wrote up the installation of one before...did you have to remove it?

I did do some work to the front end mostly reworking the disc brakes but never did anything with the front suspension.

The kit is listed as maverick specific but there is no difference between this one and a mustang kit.

Bryant, do I have to remove the coilovers to replace the drop bracket? The guy from Chris Alston's Chassisworks emailed me back right away. They are gonna ship it out for cost of shipping and said I didn't have to send back the one I have now since it wouldn't worth their cost of having it powder coated again.

i dont think you will . it will push up just a little when you unbolt the bracket from the top of the coil overs. rember the little bit we had pry it into the lower controle arm? thats all that it will pop up. im sure you will have to push the suspension up to get it all the way into the 2" plate.

mo's rear sway bar clamps didnt clear the larger tube diameter of the 9" housing. we are going to have to make some weld on mounts for the housing to bolt the sway bar brackets to.
